1. JRF research fellow (18 months) having qualification of MTech/BTech in Optoelectronics /Optical engineering / Biomedical engineering / Mechanical / Electronics and
Communications / Instrumentations/MSc Physics/Applied Physics equivalent with
minimum 55 % marks with NET/ valid GATE is demanded to carry out the proposed work
in design and development of sensor prototype, develop hardware controls for LED
switching by using PWM in LabVIEW, LED housing, DO detection experiments (Phase shift
in the Fluorescence), data acquisition from optimization and packaging of sensor and
assembly of various components as a final product and its field trials.

2. JRF research fellow (18 months) having qualification of MTech/BTech in Optoelectronics / VLSI / Electronics and Communications / Computer Instrumentations/
equivalent with minimum 55 % marks with valid GATE is demanded to carry out the
proposed work in the domain of data acquisition, signal conditioning: handling, analysis
and its representation, real time remote monitoring system by using IoT (Web Server using
2G/3G GSM/GPRS or through LAN at user definable time Interval), convert developed
System-on-Chip, proof of concept experiment, and assembly of various components as a
final product and its field trials.
Knowledge about: Signal processing, IoT, wireless communication, circuit design,
microprocessors and microcontrollers, embedded system design and VLSI
Intensive travel: During project period intensive travel is requested to visit NIOT for the
technical discussions, sensor testing and field trails in the ocean.
