Dr. Deepti Sidhaye is working as Asst. Professor in Dept. Of Physics, S. P. Pune University. A language aficionado, she is actively involved in Science Education, Research and Outreach. A merit holder throughout her academic career and recipient of many awards, she completed Ph.D. from National Chemical Laboratory, India. Apart from her well-cited research in nanomaterials and a book on experimental Physics, she is working on developing innovative methods of teaching Science. Her Science Education related activities include organization of summer school, delivering invited talks and writing of science articles in newspapers and magazines. She has travelled to European countries for collaborative work and for academic events. She pursues Science Popularization by combining her keen interests in Science and Arts through creative writing and performances in different languages.
