Learn and Earn Scheme was launched by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and Yashaswi Pvt. Ltd on 10-6-2023 in the presence of Shri. Hon. Min. Chandrakant Dada Patil, Shri Prataprao Pawar Chairman Sakal Media Group, Shri Rajesh Tope MLA and Ex. Health Minister, Shri Gajendra Chandel Management Consultant HR-Tata Motors, Adv Aditya Joshi Labour Law Practitioner, Shri Rajesh Pande Council Member SPPU, Dr. Mohitkar Director MSBTE.
As per the New Education Policy announced by Ministry of Government of India the total focus of education must be shifted to experiential learning (On the job Training). MSBTE and SPPU developed the Learn and Earn Scheme for enhancing the employability of the youth by giving them the opportunity for ON-Job-Training along with the formal education without any government fundingor any financial contribution from student trainee.
Some of the highlights of the scheme are it is 100% Industry funded programme, it has no financial incentive from government, no financial contribution from student trainee towards education expenses. Any student between the age group 18 to 35 can avail this scheme. There will be selection process and the student will be undergoing OJT for 8 hrs, 6 days a week with theoretical training through online mode.
